Como ya lo hemos comentado el proximo mes sale a la venta New World (Special Edition) 2CD, del cual uno de los discos contendra las canciones en remix. Por el momento se ha dado a conocer el single en remix de What Are You Waiting For? echo por Allen Morgan.

Otra buena noticia para todos los fans de Lauri. Pronto sera lanzado una edicion especial del CD New World el cual contendra 2 cds: el primero con las canciones ya conocidas y el segundo las traera en remix.

Tal parece indicar que este si saldra mundialmente y la fecha programada es para el 30 de Noviembre del 2011.

Nuevo album de The Rasmus - La carrera solista de Lauri se toma un descanso

The Rasmus está grabando su nuevo album en su mejor momento en Estocolmo.

La banda viajó a Suecia en barco todo en silencio la semana pasada.
-Fue básicamente una vuelta a las raíces esta sesión de estudio.Llegamos a Suecia al igual que en el año 2000, y estamos con el mismo equipo, los productores Martin Hansen, dice Lauri Ylönen de The Rasmus a YleX.


También las canciones del próximo álbum nacieron con el mismo estado de ánimo.

-Hicimos canciones de la misma manera que antes, al igual que todos los amplificadores en un solo lugar y el sudor en el lugar de ensayo, no se como hacer música frente a la computadora, dice Lauri.
La banda pasó el verano pasado en el lugar de ensayo, dos meses haciendo canciones y las sesiones de estudio se iniciaron ayer.


-Desde el comienzo del próximo año viene el nuevo material, el músico promete.

La carrera como solista de Lauri se mantiene al menos por ahora en el descanso para dar espacio a The Rasmus.

-Mi carrera solista continúa hasta el final del año y durante la primavera también hay algo, pero luego la cosa se deja en una pausa y se da completa atencion a The Rasmus, el cantante dice.



El nuevo álbum aún no tiene un nombre, pero de acuerdo a Ylönen todo va a nacer durante las sesiones de estudio. Además, no todas las letras están listos todavía.

- Steve Harris dijo que una vez que todas las mejores canciones nacen bajo estrés, estoy seguro de eso. Las canciones nacen con honestidad, sin ningún mundo de fantasía y en las letras llegan a ser mis propios sentimientos y los sentimientos del momento, dice Lauri .

Edicion especial de The Best Of...

Se ha informado que saldra una edicion especial solo para Mexico del disco The Best Of... aun no hay fecha para su lanzamiento.

The Rasmus regresa desde Finlandia

Después de haber cancelado su concierto en México hace dos años debido a la alerta de influenza, The Rasmus sorprende a sus fans, al abrir dos fechas, el 29 y 30 de octubre en El Plaza Condesa. Tal como lo habían prometido, recompensarán a sus seguidores por haber faltado a México en su última gira.
